We made this as a fun thing for Halloween in my back yard. It uses my own hand
crafted piezo drum triggers stuck on to little pumpkins. When a drumstick hits the little pumpkin, the LiveSpark plugin in Ableton Live converts that signal to a flame effect command. The FirePixels and AfterBurners in the big pumpkins shoot flames in time to the drummer's taps. The harder the hit, the more fire. Some of the pumpkins are 1:1, meaning one hit triggers one flame. Other pumpkins are programmed so they trigger patterns of flames. In total we used 21 LiveSpark FirePixels and 9 AfterBurners running on two 25 gallon propane tanks. Fun! www.livesparkfire.com
